Rose's Elevator Dress
This gown was worn so briefly it's beel called the "blink and you'll miss it" gown.  Rose wore it all of three seconds in a crowd scene when Old Rose introduced Molly Brown.

Very, very little is known about the fabrics and construction, leaving this gown open to interpretation.  The shop this gown was purchased from confirmed that the top is a sheer textile with a white slip, and the rose was changed from white to a peachy color.

The few images available show wide tucking and a kimono-style bodice.  My version will be a four-piece gown, a white slip-style gown with black fabric from the knee down in silk crepe, and the white pleated part will be a seperate silk chiffon "jacket" with the pleats continuing from the waist down.  The flower will be a detachable pin and the sash your choice of black silk crepe or velvet, or sequined and beaded in the diamond pattern seen to the left.

Gown with crepe sash: $465     Gown with velvet sash: $475
Gown with sequined and beaded sash:  $525
Original gown, before flower change
