Rose's Dinner Gown
This is the same gown as the Heaven Gown.

Whether sitting through a many-coursed meal or dancing belowdecks to gool ol' Irish music, Rose was lovely in this breath-taking gown. Back in the Edwardian days, even evening meal aboard a ship was completely formal.
Four heavily layers of silk organza (chiffon may be used) drap across the front of this gown over silk taffeta (dupioni may be used). The middle two layers continue onto the train, which slants to the right in Edwardian fashion. A detachable wrist loop enables the wearer to walk around free from fear of the train being stepped on and to dance.
Several versions of this gown are available, from unbeaded to Swarovski crystal. The fully beaded and crystal versions require about 18,000 silver sequins and 23,000 crystals that are individually applied by hand. Beads are either fire-polished glass or jet Swarovski crystal, no plastic!
