The day after Jack saved her life, Rose danced around the deck dreaming of a new life, bright and vibrant, yet as delicate, as the butterscotch yellow of her gown.
This two-piece gown includes a silk gown with the undersleeves, which I will construct in such a way that it can be worn alone, with a lace-trimmed scoop neck.
The overdress is a dual-colored gown, kimono-styling on the top of the bodice with golden embroidery. The butterscotch gown fold neatly in at the waist, held by a belted sash, tacked on and closing in the back with hooks and lightly bustled. The front, at about knee-height, are a few gathers.
A wheat-patterned silk brocade was used, but another pattern will need to stand in as I have never, in several years of watching, been able to find the same pattern. If you'd like, a non-patterned silk satin may be used instead.
