Deborah Scott designed this gown a couple sizes too big for Kate Winslet to magnify a child-like quality in her character when informed that the ship was sinking.
The original coat was made of pink wool lined with matching silk. The seams are covered with decorative strips of the same wool. The trim was a fine, hand-applied soutache braid. The buttons are covered with the same braid.
A version with machine embroidery is also available. The buttons would be satin-covered to better match the embroidery.
If you'd prefer, this coat can also be made with no trim.
Coat with hand-applied soutache braid: $1250
Coat with machine-embroidered trim: $775
Coat with no trim: $600
