Titanic
Deborah Scott won an Oscar for her costuming work on James Cameron's 1997 smash hit Titanic. Rarely does the opportunity come along to take on a project of such grand magnitude, and she did a wonderful job with the challenge presented to her. As many saw Titanic for a second, third, or more time for the costumes as much as for the story. Despite problems with scripting, the production was still an incredible success. Titanic sparked my desire to sew for others and design. Gowns with examples I made are marked by an asterisk (*).
