Store-bought stockings are, like most store-bought items, usually mass-produced and nothing special. My stockings are made with a love for the entire holiday season, though stockings are generally associated with only one holiday. Like everything I make, they are made one by one with attention to quality and detail, and intended to be long-last heirlooms.
This first set of three stockings are of silk velvet lined in satin, beaded with large seed beads of various shades matching the velvet, silver-lined bugle beads, and silver sequins. The trim is genuine rabbit fur. The natural edging is reminiscent of snow! A natural match for the beaded snowflakes!
The fur and velvet used for these are so soft it's hard to resist stroking them repeatedly. There is no way to visually capture the softness of these stockings.
These photos were taken on Christmas morning, complete with reindeer fur from Santa's suit and candy canes peeking out!
Stockings like these are $150 each with a 10% for 3 or more.
This pretty fairy stocking is ruched silk chiffon over white satin and lined with whie satin. The chiffon is ruched only on the front, and is flat on the back. The trim is rabbit fur with pink square crystals and irridescent round crystals sew into the fur. This stocking is $125.
