Mia's Coronation Gown
Hands down, this is my favorite film gown of all time.  It's what I made for my own wedding gown!  The fabric used was hand-embroidered silk embellished with thousands upon thousands of genuine seed pearls.  Ivory silk duchesse satin complements the embroidery.  The panel on the front of the skirt repeats in the back and on to the train.  The bodice is boned.

The robe is available separately, and is made of two different kinds of silk.  This robe is very full and long.  The cost of the robe is due to how much silk is used.

A standard version is available using silk satin and embroidered  taffeta in place of duchesse and embroidered silks.

For my wedding gown, I used silk duchesse satin and pintucked silk dupioni beads at each point with Swarovski crystal.  In the end, I used 5,000 on just my gown.  For our daughter's flower girl gown, I used the same fabrics and crystals.  For my gown, I made a separate corset rather than an inset, and made the bodice and skirt separate.  I also added bows to the back.  Our daughter's dress doesn't have the full train, though mine did.
