Christine's White Robe
Clear, full-length photos of this robe worn by Christine Daee through "Angel of Music" and "Phantom of the Opera" are surprisingly difficult to find now that a recent film musical has been released. But based on my research and knowledge of theatrical costuming, each run of Phantom of the Opera would have carried small differences in costumes based on availability at the time and location.
Most of this costume is the same, with the differences coming down to the ruffles. In some versions, they are cottom edged in lace, and in others, they are solely lace. The lace-edged cotton ruffles require gathering 20 YARDS of fabric...60 FEET...which I do completely by hand.
If you have a preference for the costuming of a particular show, please be sure to inform me of this when ordering so I can be sure to make what you desire.

Below is a very rushed order I had, literally a phone call on a
Sunday afternoon for an event that upcoming Friday! To get this
gown all the way to Florida would require overnighting vis UPS or
FedEx no later than Thursday. But, for a repeat order, I will
bend over backward for my clients. After a quick dash to the store and running through the aisle like a mad woman, then running to the cutting counter, through the check-out, and hurrying back home, I settled down to start, and immediately I realized this was going to take a lot longer than planned.... And I still had a "day job" at the time eating into the hours I was available!
At the eleventh hour, this robe, the cotton version with lace-edged cotton ruffles, was ready to go to UPS, and I got there with barely five minuted to spare on that Thursday afternoon! Needless to say, it arrived on time and the recipient was thrilled.
