While she was wearing this gown, performing as the character Elisse in Hannibal, Raoul, the Vicomte de Chagny (otherwise known as Viscount), first sees his childhood love again after many years.
This gown is extremely elaborate, regardless of version. In the gown to the right, the corset is sequined and the skirt's primary background color is red with red again as the prominent color for the swag across the front. A more specialized fringe is used across the bottom of the swag.
In the version above/to the left, the corset is a non-sequined velvet with green being the primary color for the skirt swag and lower skirt. A simpler fringe is used under the swag. Differences, such as these, are why it's important to communicate a preference for stage version. Heavy jewels are used for both.
Simpler version (above/left): $1,850
More elaborate version (right): $2,850
