The Green Fairy
Originally this little absinthe-induced sprite was to be portrayed as a small green hippe-man played by none other than Ozzie Osborne.  At some point, Baz decided to show the fairy as a sexy, almost-flirty, pseudo-playful pixie.  However, the shriek toward the end of her scene where she turns "evil" is a recording of Ozzie.

This deluxe version of this creation consists of a fully steel-boned corset covered entirely in flat green sequins.

The standard version is semi-boned and uses pre-sequined fabric.

The basic version is lightly boned and made using a metallic fabric.

All versions are trimmed at the bottom with green glass fringe with a silk chiffon overlay snipped with unfinished edges for that raw look.  All lace up the back.  Wings are available separately and are based on availability.

Deluxe version: $1,200
Standard version: $800
Basic version: $600
Wings: Price varies
This corset was made to wear to Burning Man in 2007.  The theme was "The Green Man," an encironmental theme.  I wore this to the burning of the Man.  When I sat down on a burning log for this photo, some embers blew toward me, and the nxt thing I knew I was on fire!  But just a little!  The overlay and one of the wings were burned a bit.
Burned, Baby, burned!
The singed edges were cut away here, leaving cleaner edges.
Knowing ahead of time that wearing a fully-steel-boned corset in the middle of the desert, I made a very important modification.  The center back, the section seen above without fringe, is a two-piece panel, seen below.  The center of this piece quickly unhooks.  This enabled the corset to come off in seconds if overheating were to occur, as it did once.  Afterward this panel can be removed and the corset laced up the back as usual.  A panel like this, one or two pieces, also enables the corset to be worn even with some weight loss.
