Christmas Flower Girls and Pomanders
These flower girls were my own flower girls!

While one dress was photographed (and rather badly) on a dress form, there were two little flower girls, in addition to my own daughter (who wore a different dress, a miniature of my own).  These dresses were made form a poly taffeta, one of the few times I'll use poly fabrics.  This makes these dresses exceptionally easy to keep clean.  See the pictures on the two girls below, pictures taken several months and many many wearings later!  These dresses zipped closed in the back.

The sashes are of a heavy bridal satin, though silver ribbon was worn the day of the wedding.  In all the last-minute rush, the sashes were misplaced!

The beautiful pomanders are natural pinecones collected from a high school campus with permission, decorated with faux foliage, some glittered in silver and gold, with some faux holly berries scattered throughout, including between the seeds of the pinecones.  White satin ribbon formed the loops to carry.

For privacy at the parents' request, their faces will not be shown, so there are no photos from the wedding available to show at this time.

These photos were taken in summer.  With sashes of different colors, these dresses are wonderful for any time of year.  After dozens of wearings, they still look new too.  These dresses are a fantastic value.
